Volunteering at PPNWO

Volunteers and interns play a key role in the ability of Planned Parenthood of NW Ohio to achieve its mission. PPNWO supports the partnership of volunteers and staff to achieve organizational goals. Volunteers and interns assist in enhancing the services provided to patients, in providing increased community education and in advocating for the agency and its mission in the community.

A volunteer is anyone who performs a task or gives service at the direction of and on behalf of Planned Parenthood of NW Ohio without receiving financial compensation from the agency.

An intern is any individual who performs a task or provides service at the direction of and on behalf of Planned Parenthood of NW Ohio in exchange for academic credit or as part of an academic field experience program.

Completion of orientation and training requirements
Responsibility in carrying out service assignments
Accurate record keeping of service hours
