"Planned Parenthhod has provided me with birth control since I became sexually active and have also given me regular PAP smears and STD testing. I've never had insurance and I don't think I would be able to feel confident about my health without their services. Their services are so important for women because of breast cancer and cervical cancer, and all those things need to be checked for regularly. I wouldn't know where else to go for these services without insurance because they are so expensive. I probably wouldn't be able to have myself checked out."

Materials Which May be Borrowed
Parents As Sexuality Educators (PASE)
Children receive a great deal of sexuality information from the media, school, religious institutions and their peers. But parents are the first and most important sex educators of their children. To help children grow up to be sexually responsible and healthy, the PASE kit provides parents with medically correct information about sex and sexuality. The diverse kit can be loaned out to families to work with their children in the privacy of their home. The kit includes age appropriate materials on: puberty, abstinence and teen issues. Spanish language kits and special needs kits are also available.
