Besides providing for your loved ones, your will can be a tribute to the principles and values important to you. This is a meaningful way to leave a legacy for the organization whose work you wish to support. Q: Is my gift tax deductible? A: All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Q: I don't want anyone to know I have given money to Planned Parenthood of Northwest Ohio, Inc. How can I keep my name off printed materials? A: Just let us know you do not want any recognition in any of our publications and we will mark your gift "anonymous". Q: How is Planned Parenthood of Northwest Ohio, Inc. funded? A: Planned Parenthood of Northwest Ohio, Inc. is funded from three main sources. Twenty-one per cent of our income is received from public support in the form of donations; twenty nine per cent of our money is from patient service fees, sales of contraceptives, interest and dividends, and the remaining fifty per cent is from unrestricted fees and grants from government agencies including the Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, and the Lucas County Department of Job and Family Services. A: Our names are held in the strictest of confidence. We do not share them with other organizations. Q: Can I donate through the workplace campaign where I work? A: Planned Parenthood of Northwest Ohio, Inc. is a member organization of Community Shares Northwest Ohio. They participate in various workplace campaigns in the area. Just mark the box identifying PPNWO, and your gift will be sent to our agency. If you cannot designate at your place of employment, let us know and we will contact your human resource department for inclusion.
